Children’s Museum of Manhattan
The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is comprised of five narrow but lively floors of educational fun for young children. It’s not nearly as large as the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, but it’s a very easy way to entertain young kids on a cold or rainy day. Exhibits are mostly well kept and certain floors rotate exhibits regularly, while others (the Dora the Explorer floor, for example) remain permanently.
The museum is best suited for kids, including babies, under age 6, but kids through about age 10 will still enjoy aspects of the museum.
Located at 212 West 83rd Street, CMOM is open daily from 10am - 5pm (until 7pm on Saturdays), closed Mondays. Tickets are $15 for kids and adults over age 1.
