Scattered Books

Browsing an independent book store is one of my absolute favorite forms of shopping - throw a group of fluffy bunnies into the mix and I’m going to want to stay forever.

At Chappaqua’s Scattered Books, not only are there adorable “bookstore bunnies” roaming free - ready to be pet and loved, but the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff actually encourages visitors to stick around and play with those bunnies for as long as they like. It’s such a lovely and friendly space, you can’t help but be smitten by the books, the bunnies and the business itself.

Besides a nice selection of adult and children’s books and accessories and those fluffy rabbits, Scattered Books offers children’s parties, gift baskets and favors. In normal times, events and book signings are commonplace. For now, we just loved getting some new books and bunny snuggles on our visit.
