Sloop Brewing at the Factory is Very Kid Friendly and Very Close to Home

Less than an hour from Greenwich is a brewery that is both well regarded and incredibly kid friendly. That’s a winning combination for parents. Sloop Brewing Co. very recently opened a second brew space in a former IBM semiconductor plant in East Fishkill, NY. Known as Sloop at the Factory, this 25,000 square foot industrial space is sprawling, casual and welcoming to families. Get seated at one of the brewery’s picnic style tables and order food (get the burger) and drinks (don’t worry, non-beer drinkers, they also serve “non-beer”). Your kids will enjoy a kids menu, a coloring and game style placement and the handful of free arcade and board games onsite. There’s even a free “Selfie Station” for pictures.

Sloop at the Factory is open at 755 East Drive, Suite 106 in Hopewell Jct, NY on Thursdays from 11:30am to 9pm, Fridays from 11:30am to 10pm, Saturday from noon to 10pm and Sundays from noon to 8pm.

If the weather is nice, roughly 5 minutes from Sloop at the Factory is an AWESOME playground called Julie’s Jungle. It’s very modern and has a lot of really unique play structures. It’s also completed gated for the little ones.
