/Oh Wow. Some Easter Egg Hunts ARE Happening in 2021. I got so used to living in a world of nothingness that it didn’t even dawn on me until a few days ago that there actually MIGHT be some holiday activities happening this spring. Alas, Easter is just about a month away and some Egg Hunts are already sold out (lookin’ at you, Stamford Nature Center). Read on for a few that, as of this publication, still have spots!

Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard, a super popular farm and apple/pumpkin picking fall destination in North Salem, NY is hosting multiple Egg Hunts for kids age 8 and under! Each hunt requires advanced, timed registration.
The hunts will take place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, March 27th, Sunday, March 28th, Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd and the daily time slots are grouped by children’s age.
Besides the participation in an egg hunt, admission includes an egg carton for collecting those eggs, a set of bunny ears and a visit with the Easter Bunny! Tickets are on sale now for $15 per child.

Grab an Easter basket and head to one of two Barnyard Egg Hunts happening at Queens County Farm. There will be many timed sessions happening from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, March 27th and Saturday April 3rd. Participation in each session is limited, so be sure to register early! Tickets cost $12 per person, including adults.
Guests at this event will enjoy 47 egg-cellent acres of outdoor space. Besides the egg hunt, kids can visit with the farm’s animals and hop on a hayride while at Queens Farm. Food vendors will also be on the farm all day selling treats.
EASTER EGG ROLL, MATHER HOMESTEAD, DARIEN, CT
Head to Darien, CT on Saturday, April 3rd at 1pm for Mather Homestead’s old fashioned Easter Egg Roll. At this event, children will get involved with some egg rolling (wooden egg and spoon to be provided), plus enjoy outdoor games, Easter treats and live music.
The cost of this event is $45 per child and it includes an Easter basket chock full of goodies. The event is limited to 150 people so buy your tickets before they sell out!
Eggstravaganza, Stew Leonard’s Locations
Several Stew Leonard’s locations will be hosting Eggstravaganza egg hunts this year. Eggs containing candy and prizes will be hidden throughout the stores, and a couple lucky children at each event will find a Golden Egg containing special grand prizes. Each hunt is FREE but requires prior registration through the link above.
The hunts are happening on Wednesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 25th across all the Stew’s locations in Connecticut (Norwalk, Danbury and Newington), New York (Yonkers, East Meadow and Farmingdale) and New Jersey (Paramus).

A brand new Egg Hunt was just announced for kids aged 2 to 10! This one, put on by the Fairfield Local Moms Network, will take place from 10am to 1pm on Friday, April 2nd at Silverman’s Farm in Easton. There will be three different hunts during the day with kids grouped by age. A food truck will be on site, as well as yummy goodies from local vendors, swag bags, raffles and more. Tickets can be purchased for $10 per family through the link above. Admission will be limited to keep the event safe so buy quickly!
