I was very slow to learn about the major revitalization of a 1947 movie theater happening just 20 minutes from my house in Bedford, NY. Back in Spring 2017, a revamp to the tune of over $8 million began to transform the former movie theater into what is today a beautiful cultural hub called the Bedford Playhouse.

Now that I’ve finally visited, I am hooked on the Bedford Playhouse. There is a lot to love about this place.

Halloween might be my favorite holiday. No, I'm not one of those old folks who still loves to get dressed up - but I think it is so much fun seeing my kiddies get excited to pick out costumes, and run around like crazy persons in pursuit of free candy.
